City hall Asbach-Bäumenheim
As part of the renovation work in the town hall in Asbach-Bäumenheim, it was planned to enable disabled access to all floors.
This should be done via an elevator system in the stairwell.
For this purpose, extensive renovation work was required in the town hall because, for example, a supporting column was in the way in the area of the future elevator door.

The support columns were removed and replaced with support pillars to the left and right of the future elevator door:
The roof was closed again and a new dormer was built:

All work to date has been carried out by local construction companies and carpenters. After all preparatory work had been completed and a construction inspection was completed, assembly of the elevator system could begin:

After erecting the shaft framework, work began on installing the doors and the cabin:
The drive, in this case hydraulic, and the elevator control could also be placed.

Various work still needs to be done in the building. The last trades are finishing their work and moving in is imminent.
