Parkstreet in Munich

The building at Parkstrasse 6 in Munich is currently undergoing extensive renovation and reconstruction.

A glass shaft structure with an elevator system is being constructed in the stairwell of the Neo-Renaissance building to improve accessibility.

The challenges in this building, dating from 1888, include, in addition to the requirements of historic preservation, the connection of the shaft frame to the existing structure.
